Being a native New Yorker, Shawnette has an intimate knowledge of Manhattan's neighborhoods, having been raised in Harlem and residing there as a lifetime Harlemite. From a full-time agent at a mom-and-pop Agency in Queens to focusing on rentals and sales in the Citi Habitats and Then Corcoran group's Williamsburg office in Brooklyn, Shawnette demonstrates the adaptability and structure essential to Real Estate and entrepreneurship.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Shawnette generously volunteers her event planning skills for various charities, including Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Girls Inc., and Food Bank NYC.
